Women empowerment indicates to making women powerful to make them capable of deciding for themselves. Women have suffered a lot in early at the hands of men and some unwanted cultures. Now women are rising up by getting involved in all the fields equal to men. On the other hand, even though women are developing, the discrimination of women occurring in many villages and in few developed cities in our country because of lack of awareness.
Killing girl child practice is almost eradicated in our country because of women empowerment and development. According to United Nations (World Population Prospects) May 2019 India has 930 females per 1000 males, in absolute terms our country has 48.20% female population compare to 51.80% male population. Discrimination against girl children, adolescent girls and women persists in parts of the country. Therefore, they remain largely marginalized, poor and socially excluded.
